Daughenbaugh 50th Anniversary
RIDGWAY — Ronald and Joan Daughenbaugh of Ridgway celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 28, 2005.
They were married May 28, 1955, in Buffalo, N.Y.
They went on to celebrate their marriage in New London, Conn.
She is the former Joan Wagner from Johnsonburg.
He is originally from Brockport.
They have three children: Scott Daughenbaugh of Englewood, Fla., Mrs. Herb (Michele) Olay of Ridgway and Mrs. Joseph (Lynne) Roseto of Ridgway.
They also have five grandchildren.
An anniversary party will be celebrated in early July with their family.

(Obituary of Joan Daughenbaugh: "Joan G. (Wagner) Daughenbaugh, 81, formerly of 10 Depot St., Ridgway, died Thursday morning, Jan. 28, 2016 at Pinecrest Manor following a lengthy illness. She was born March 8, 1934 in St. Marys, daughter of the late William C. and Josephine (Hoffman) Nicklas Wagner of Johnsonburg. On May 28, 1955, she married Ronald E. Daughenbaugh, and he preceded her in death May 23, 2006. She had resided in Ridgway most of her life. She was Catholic by faith and was a member of the St. Leo's Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School Class of 1952. She was self-employed with her husband for many years as owners of the R & J Tavern in Ridgway (well known for the best beer battered fish fries in the area). She then was employed by Brody's Fashions in Ridgway and followed by retiring from Advanced Thermal Products in St. Marys. She enjoyed baking for her family and treasured her grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by one son, Scott E. Daughenbaugh and his wife Mary of Rotonda West, Fla.; two daughters, Michele R. Olay and her husband Herb of Ridgway and Lynne A. Roseto and her husband Joseph of Ridgway; five grandchildren, Cory A. Caskey of Ridgway, Ryan Daughenbaugh and his wife Jordin of Hartselle, Ala., Alex Daughenbaugh of Orlando, Fla., Michael Roseto of Cape May, N.J., and Taylor Roseto of Erie; one sister-in-law, Grace Daughenbaugh of Ridgway; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Norman Nicklas; and her beloved furry, four-legged "granddog" Maximillian. A Mass of Christian Burial for Joan G. Daughenbaugh will be celebrated at St. Leo Catholic Church in Ridgway on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Brian E. Vossler, pastor of St. Leo Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Leo Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Thompson Funeral Home, 136 Center St., Ridgway.")
