BROCKWAY - Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Wilson celebrated their 70th anniversary Thursday.
They were married Sept. 16, 1940, at Beechwoods parsonage by the Rev. Thompson.
They have lived in Sugar Hill for 67 years.
They have three children: Betty (John) Cook of Brockway, Larry Wilson of Chatham, Va.; and Patty (Bill) Carr of Brockway; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
They celebrated Saturday at the DuBois Senior Center.

(Obituary of Lincoln Wilson: "Lincoln Arthur "Link" Wilson age 95 of Route 28 Sugar Hill (currently a resident at Brookside Senior Living in Brookville) died on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Brookside. Born on February 12, 1921 in Hazen, PA; he was the son of the late Alonzo and Bessie Reitz Wilson. On September 16, 1940 he was married to Mildred J. Roush and she preceded him in death on November 29, 2015. Retired, Link was the owner/operator of L. A. Wilson Trucking for close to 45 years. He also subcontracted out his services and equipment to Putman-Green Construction and was instrumental in the construction of Interstate 80. He was a U.S. Army, WWII Veteran where he served in the Infantry as a truck driver, and was awarded three Bronze Stars. Link was Presbyterian by faith. He was a member of the Orient Club, Brockway Sportsmen's Club, the American Legion, and was a 32 degree member of the George E. Wagner Lodge #639 F&AM Lodge in St. Marys, PA. He enjoyed coin collecting, going to auctions, hunting and fishing. He is survived by 2 daughters: Patty (Bill) Carr and Betty Cook both of Brockway; 1 son: Larry Wilson of Chatham, VA; a half brother William E. Bovaird of Sugar Hill; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife he is also preceded in death by 1 sister, 5 brothers and a great grandson. Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 24 at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home with Pastor David Nagele officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Cemetery at Hazen. Full Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion. (Obituary of Mildred Wilson: "Mildred J. Wilson, 91, of Brockway, Pa., died on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at Brookside Senior Living Center in Brookville, Pa. Born Feb. 9, 1924, in Sandy Valley, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Daniel Scott and Mary Catherine Wolfgang Roush. On Sept. 16, 1940, she was married to Lincoln A. "Link" Wilson and he survives. They just celebrated their 75th wedding aniversary. Retired, she had been employed at Paris Cleaners for 18 years as well as a lifelong homemaker. Mildred was a member of the Sugar Hill Presbyterian Church and she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading, cooking and baking. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two daughters: Betty Cook of Brockway and Patty (Bill) Carr, also of Brockway; one son, Larry Wilson of Chatham, Va.; one sister, Edna Lingenfelter of DuBois; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters and one grandson. Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Temple Cemetery at Hazen.
