BEECHWOODS - Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Smith of Beechwoods celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday.
Darlene Y. Haag and Charles G. Smith were united in marriage Oct. 15, 1960, at the Chestnut Grove Methodist Church in Chestnut Grove by the Rev. John Bergstrom.
They have two daughters, Cindy (Michael) Story of New Palestine, Ind., and Lori (Bryan) Kocher of Oakdale; and five grandchildren.
An open house will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at Beechwoods Golf Course and Restaurant, Airport Road, Falls Creek. The couple requests no gifts.
