PUNXSUTAWNEY - Gene and Janet Smith are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

An open house will be held from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 9 from 2-4 p.m. at the Punxsutawney First Baptist Church basement, 209 E. Union St., Punxsutawney.
