Cochran 50th Anniversary
DuBOIS — Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cochran of 904 Treasure Lake, DuBois, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday.
A dinner was held in their honor at the Lake View Lodge hosted by their children.
Donald H. Cochran and E. Virginia Fitch were married Sept. 25, 1954, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ridgway by the Rev. Orville Nyblade.
The Cochrans are members of Christ Lutheran Church in DuBois.
He retired from MassMutual Life Insurance Company after 25 years of service as a group consultant in New York and New Jersey.
She worked as a legal secretary in New York.
They have nine children: David Cochran of Apex, N.C., Laura Otander of Ashville, N.Y., Diana Buckel of Treasure Lake, DuBois, Leslie Gacioch of Fairport, N.Y., Dawn Hofsommer of Spring, Texas, Stephen Cochran of Cedar Park, Texas, Michael Cochran of Morris Plains, N.J., Kathleen Marion of Chandler, Ariz., and Melissa Cochran, deceased.
They also have 25 grandchildren.
