Andrekovich 45th Anniversary
DuBOIS — Don and Marlene (Miller) Andrekovich of DuBois are celebrating their 45th anniversary today with a brunch, hosted by their children, at the DuBois Holiday Inn.
They were married Sept. 5, 1959, at St. Tobias Catholic Church in Brockway with the Rev. Fr. John Cronin officiating.
He is a retired sales representative for Troll Associates Publishing Company of New Jersey.
She is a retired employee of the DuBois Area High School cafeteria.
They have five sons: Mark of Kinnelon, N.J.; Kevin of Lake Mary, Fla.; Timothy of Tipton; Brian of Punxsutawney and Patrick of Cranberry Township; and 11 grandchildren.
A fall trip to Spain and Portugal is planned.

(Obituary of Marlene Andrekovich: "Marlene I. Andrekovich, age 74, of Knarr Street, DuBois, died on March 2 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Born Nov. 2, 1935 in Ridgway, PA she was a daughter of the late Forest and Esther (Lundblad) Miller. On Sept. 5, 1959 she married Donald J. Andrekovich who survives. She had worked at Brockway Glass Company and then in the DuBois Area High School Cafeteria. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed bowling and going for walks and was an avid sportsfan especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates. In addition to her husband she is also survived by five sons: Mark S. Andrekovich and his wife Mari of Reston, VA, Kevin M. Andrekovich and his wife Beatriz of Lake Mary, FL, Timothy D. Andrekovich and his wife Dionne of Tipton, PA, Brian J. Andrekovich and his wife Kimberly of Punxsutawney, PA and Patrick J. Andrekovich of Cranberry Twp. PA; six sisters: Violet Fortunato of Brockway, PA, Donna Lindholm of Brockway, PA, Norma Parana of Johnsonburg, PA, Betty Miller of Brockway, PA, Karen Baka of Brockway, PA and Glenda Peterson of Brockway, PA; and thirteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents three brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held on March 5 from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home. A Scriptural Wake Service will be held on March 5 at 7:30 p.m. from the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 6 at 9 a.m. from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church Cemetery in Sykesville.
