Bayer 64th Anniversary
ROCKTON — James and Sara Rudolph Bayer of Rockton (Home Camp) celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary Jan. 1, 2005.
They were married Jan. 1, 1941, in Falls Creek.
He retired from the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1980.
She worked at Jackson China from 1947 to 1956.
They have three children: James and Thomas “Bugsy” Bayer, both of Rockton, and Tammy Simmons of Shrewsbury; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Their family took them to a movie in Clarion and then out to eat to celebrate the occasion.
