Foster 50th Anniversary
DuBOIS — Robert and Barbara (Watson) Foster were married March 5, 1955, by the Rev. S.D. Sigler at the Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is retired from Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel Inc., DuBois.
She is retired from Deposit Bank.
They have two sons, Scott Foster of Franklin and Gary Foster of DuBois, and four grandchildren.

(Obituary of Robert Foster: "Robert C. “Bob” Foster, 82, DuBois, passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at DuBois Regional Medical Center West. Born Dec. 21, 1931, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Harry E. and Beryl Wineburg Foster. On March 5, 1955, he married Barbara L. Watson Foster in DuBois. She survives. Bob graduated from DuBois Area High School in 1950 and then served in the army during the Korean War. He worked at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel prior to his retirement. As a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, he served as a former church council member and was a member of both the Methodist Men and Young at Heart groups. He was a member of Garfield Lodge #559 F&AM, Coudersport Consistory, Jaffa Shrine of Altoona, DuBois Shrine Club and American Legion Post #17. Survivors also include two sons, R. Scott (Janet) Foster of Polk and Gary L. (Cindy) Foster of DuBois; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Mildred) Chittester of DuBois. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John E. Foster; and three sisters: Mrs. William (Virginia) Lowe, Mrs. Albert (Harriet) Good, and Mrs. William (Eileen) Lowe. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Adamson Funeral Chapel in DuBois. Masonic services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel with Pastor Kelly Schanely officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard. Burial will be at Morningside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Mt.
