Lantz 50th Anniversary

PERRYSBURG — Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Lantz of Perrysburg, Ohio, formerly of Brockway and DuBois, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Valentine’s Day.

Hubert Lantz and Dorothy Shaffer were married Feb. 14, 1955, in Winchester, Va.

He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh as a chemical engineer and retired from Owens-Illinois in 2000 after a 42-year career in the glass industry.

She worked for Bell Telephone Company before becoming a homemaker.

She retired from JC Penney in 1997 after 22 years of service.

They have three children: Mrs. Rick (Nancy) Rogers of Perrysburg, Ohio; Hubert Lantz Jr. of Muskogee, Okla.; and Scott Lantz of Vienna, W.Va.; and three grandchildren.
