Marrara 25th Anniversary
ROCKTON — Mr. and Mrs. Sam (Patricia Preston) Marrara of Rockton celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Feb. 15, 2005.
He is the son of the late Sam and Frances Marrara of Rockton.
She is the daughter of Ed and Ruth Preston of Rockton, and formerly of Brockway.
He has been employed by Brockway Press Metals for 27 years in the finishing department.
He is a member of the Adrian-Sandy and the Union Township fire companies and the coordinator for Sandy Township Emergency Management Agency.
He has been involved as a coach in different youth programs.
She has been employed at the DuBois Nursing Home for 19 years in central supply and resident transportation, where she has been named employee of the month and of the year.
She has been volunteered with several youth programs as well as fire department auxiliaries.
They have a daughter, Mrs. D.J. (Jessica) Reid of Maugansville, Md., and a son, Michael of Rockton.
They are awaiting the arrival of their first grandchild in October.
They will be celebrating their anniversary by attending a NASCAR race and a delayed party, hosted by their children, during warmer weather.
