Pitrone 50th Anniversary
DuBOIS — Anthony and Beatrice (Crawford) Pitrone were married Jan. 22, 1955, at Ss. Cosmas and Damien Catholic Church in Punxsutawney by the Rev. Msgr. Francis J. Turner.
He retired as chief of surveys for the District 10 Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
He is a construction manager consultant for PennDOT on a part-time basis.
She is a homemaker and employed by Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
Both are very active with St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in DuBois.
The Pitrones have six children: Marianne Wymer of Muncie, Ind., Bernard Pitrone of DuBois, Kathleen Puleo of Oil City, Anthony Pitrone Jr. of Marietta, Ga., Gregory Pitrone of Richmond, Va., and Andrew Pitrone of Erie.
They also have 12 grandchildren.
In the couple’s honor, an anniversary celebration will be held with family and friends in July.
