Levanduski 50th Anniversary
FORCE - Mr. and Mrs. Edward Levanduski (Josephine Skrzypek) of Force celebrated their 50th anniversary Saturday.
They were married Sept. 3, 1955, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force.
He retired from Carbide / Graphite in St. Marys.
She retired from Pure Carbon in St. Marys.
They have two children, Joyce Baughman of Penfield and Edward "Buzzy" Levanduski of Weedville, three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

(Obituary of Edward Levanduski: "Edward S. Levanduski, 80, Pine Avenue, Force, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Penn Highlands DuBois hospital, after a short illness. Born Sept. 3, 1933, in Tyler, he was a son of the late James and Bernice Sadowski Levanduski. He was married to Josephine Skrzypek Levanduski on Sept. 3, 1955. She survives. He was a graduate of Huston Township High School, class of 1952. Lived all his life in Bennett's Valley. He retired from Airco Speer in 1996 after 42 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force and enjoyed the Steelers, Pirates, hunting and especially his dog "Shabby". Survivors also include two children, Joyce Baughman and Fiancee Keith "Woodchuck" Spong of St. Marys, Edward "Buzzy" and his wife Mary Levanduski of Weedville; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. The family will receive friends from 9 -10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Force. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Church with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Tyler officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Force. Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home in Penfield is in charge of arrangements.")
