Pentz 50th Anniversary
GRAMPIAN — Drexel and Norma Pentz of Grampian celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house Saturday at Pentz Park in Hepburnia.
They were married July 1, 1955, in the Hepburnia United Methodist Church by Pastor Paul Roland during a double wedding ceremony, including Hale and Shirley (Pentz) Fink.
He was a self-employed truck driver and was owner and operator of his own trucks and also Pentz Coal Company Inc. She was a homemaker.
They have five children: Nancy Rowles of Curwensville, Audie and Keith of Grampian, Robby of Edgewater, Fla., and Dale of Curwensville.
They have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

(Obituary of Norma Pentz: "Norma Pentz, 76, of Grampian, passed away Jan. 31, 2012 at her residence. Born Jan. 3, 1936 in Olanta, she was the daughter of Howard and Helen (Beach) McKee. Mrs. Pentz was a homemaker and was a member of the Hepburnia United Methodist Church in Grampian. On July 1, 1955 in the Hepburnia United Methodist Church, she wed Drexel L. Pentz who survives along with five children: Nancy Rowles and husband Ron and Dale Pentz and wife Kelly both of Curwensville, Audie Pentz and his wife Donna and Keith Pentz and his wife Joan both of Grampian, and Robby Pentz and his wife Paige of New Smyra, FL. Also surviving are ten grandchildren: Shelby Rowles, Missy Lansberry and husband Glenn, Traci Pentz and fiancée Andrew Guelich, Dustin Pentz and fiancée Tonya Conklin, Malinda Giovannelli and husband Angelo, Amanda Pentz, Ryan Pentz, Michele Pentz, Stefanie Pentz, and Kristen Pentz, seven great grandchildren Cheyenne Rowles, Shelby Ryan Rowles, McKinley Lansberry, Trenton Pentz, Natalie Giovannelli, Arontino Giovannelli, and Brayten Armstrong and a sister and a brother. Howard Clark McKee and wife Ann of Palm Springs, CA and Lois Kipila of Colonia, NJ. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services for Norma Pentz will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville, on Feb. 3, at 11:00 a.m., with the Reverend Emmett Anderson, officiating. Interment will be in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian. Friends will be received at the funeral home on February 2 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services.
