Uplinger 40th Anniversary
REYNOLDSVILLE — Mr. and Mrs. James Uplinger (Laura Lougee) of Reynoldsville are celebrating their 40th anniversary today.
They were married July 3, 1965, at the Reynoldsville Methodist Church.
He was employed at McDowell for 35 years.
He works for Punxsutawney Tile and Glass.
She worked for Jefferson County Head Start for 13 years.
She now works for Community Resource Inc. out of Erie and Senior Assist in Punxsutawney.
They have five children: Mrs. Fred (Lisa) Wonderling, Don Uplinger and Mrs. James (Laurie) Miller, all of Punxsutawney; James Uplinger II of Fayetteville, Ark.; and Guy Uplinger of Reynoldsville.
They have 17 grandchildren.
The Uplingers are planning a trip later to celebrate the occasion.
