WILLIAMS - CARR
Miss Bethany Anne Williams and Mr. Adam Michael Carr were united in marriage on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at half past five in the evening at the Teays Valley Church of the Nazarene, the couple’s home church.
The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Charles V. Williams, Dr. Mervin C. Smith, and Dr. C. Harold Smith. Music was provided by Mr. Matthew Davis, pianist, and Mrs. Rebecca Perdue, vocalist.
The bride is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Charles V. Williams of Scott Depot. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Carr of Elkins.
Serving as Maid of Honor was Ashley Burdette, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Abby Baird, Abigail Temple, Anna Pennington, Ashley Butte, Brittany Hill, Courtney Cheek, Melissa Walker, Nicole Davis, and Shelly Carroll. Flower girls were Alexandra Miller, Hannah Haddix, and Trinity Gable.
Serving as Best Man was Joshua Carr, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Charles Abraham Williams, Curtis Roth, Mark Epperson, and Philip Carr. Junior Groomsman were Ben Acklin and Philip Acklin. Ring bearers were Brady Acklin and Benjamin Haddix. Serving as Ushers were Charles Webb, Homer Hudson, Michial Hill, and Weldon Pierson.
A candlelit dinner reception was held at Wilson Student Union at West Virginia State University. The couple honeymooned in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. Carr would like to thank everyone for sharing in their day and making it special. The couple now resides in Charleston.
