WIANT 30th ANNIVERSARY
FAIRMOUNT CITY - DeWayne "Sam" and Claudia Wiant of Fairmount City marked their 30th wedding anniversary with a surprise party hosted by their children at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004 at the home of Myron and Sandie Crawford.
DeWayne Wiant, son of Kenneth and Marion Wiant, married the former Claudia Goodman, daughter of Fred and Roberta Goodman, on Sept. 7, 1974, at the Fairmount City United Methodist Church with the Rev. Raymond Crawford officiating.
Mrs. Wiant is a receptionist at Shore Family Health Care.
Her interests are spending time with her family, vacationing at the beach and camping at Rimer.
Mr. Wiant works as an auto mechanic at Magness Garage.
He shares the same interests as his wife as well as hunting and fishing.
They are the parents of two daughters, Kristen Glass and her husband, Dan, of Leeper and Kimberly Wiant and her fiancé, Bill Brandt, of York.
