PANCIERA 45th ANNIVERSARY
NEW BETHLEHEM - Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Panciera marked their 45th wedding anniversary on December 27, 2003.
Donald E. Panciera and the former Ruth B. Miller were married on December 27, 1958, by the Rev. Thomas J. Crowell at the St. Charles Catholic Church.
Mr. Panciera is employed by Skinners Pontiac Buick GMC Trucks of New Bethlehem.
He is a member of the New Bethlehem V.F.W. Post 415 and the New Bethlehem Knights of Columbus Post No. 8538.
Mrs. Panciera is a homemaker.
They are members of the St. Charles Catholic Church in New Bethlehem.
The couple have three sons, Roger D. Miller and Roland C. Miller, both of New Bethlehem, and Rodney L. Miller of Mayport; seven grandchildren, Julie M. Allen, Kristen L. Young, Jennifer L. Miller, Jessica D. Miller, Ronald C. Miller, Kari A. Miller-Niccolli and Brice J. Miller; and four great-grandchildren.

(Obituary of Donald Panciera: "Donald E. Panciera, 87, of New Bethlehem, died Saturday afternoon, Jan. 5, 2013, at the Brookville Hospital. He was born Dec. 20, 1925, in Seminole, son of Peter Anthony and Hannah Rose (Bricen) Panciera. Don married the former Ruth B. (Rizer) Miller, Dec. 27, 1958, and she preceded him in death July 6, 2004. Don served his country with the Army during World War II. He was inducted March 20, 1944, and honorably discharged May 28, 1946. He worked at various jobs including coal truck driver, with the state store and local food markets in the area. He started his car sales career with LeBrands Buick Pontiac in 1968. In 1981, he joined the Skinner Group Inc. for 29 years and then with Veronesi Used Cars for two years. He was well-known for his storytelling and good humor. His life included much time devoted to many charities and was a devoted member of the St. Charles Catholic Church and helped in the 100th anniversary of the church. Don belonged to the Knights of Columbus was Second Grand Knight from 1986 to 1988. Don loved to send cards to his friends for many different reasons: sickness, in hospital, happy occasions and congratulations. He enjoyed writing letters to the editor of the local papers. He had many repeat customers in the auto business and in between purchases, they would stop just to visit, which he really enjoyed. Don is survived by three stepsons, Roger D. Miller and wife, Jean, of New Bethlehem, Roland C. Miller, of New Bethlehem, and Rodney L. Miller and wife, Sherry, of Mayport; seven grandchildren, Julie Allen and husband, Brian, Kristin Young and husband, Steve, Ronnie Miller, Jennifer Waugaman and husband, Ben, Kari Miller, Jessica Thompson and husband, Daniel, and Bryce Miller and fiancee, Caitlin Conko; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Allen, Mackenzie and Abby Young, Preston and Regan Miller, Emalyn and Alivia Waugaman and Hendrix Thompson; a sister-in-law, Norma Panciera, of North Syracuse, N.Y.; two nieces; a nephew; and several cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, Ruth, Don was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy M. Bish; and three brothers, Thomas A. Panciera, John J. Panciera and Hilton W. Panciera. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at the ALCORN FUNERAL HOME in Hawthorn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at the St. Charles Catholic Church in New Bethlehem with Father Sam Bungo officiating. Interment will be in the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, New Bethlehem. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the St. Charles Building Fund.")
(Obituary of Ruth Panciera: "Ruth B. (Rizer) Miller Panciera, 75, of South Bethlehem died early Tuesday morning, July 6, 2004 at her residence. She was born July 24, 1928 in Frostburg, Md. to Aurther and Pearl (Mason) Rizer. Mrs. Panciera was employed by Clear Channel Cable for 19 years. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, New Bethlehem where she was a member of the Rosary Society. She enjoyed staying busy at work and crocheting. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Most of all, she loved all of her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Donald E. Panciera whom she married Dec. 27, 1958 at St. Charles Catholic Church, New Bethlehem; three sons, Roger D. Miller and wife Jean and Roland C. Miller, all of South Bethlehem and Rodney Miller and wife Sherry of Mayport; seven grandchildren, Julie Allen, Kristin Young, Ronny Miller, Kari Ann Nicolli, Jennifer Waugaman, Jessica Miller and Bryce Miller; six great-grandchildren, Joshua Allen, Mackenzie Young, Preston Miller, Jacob Allen, Regan Miller and Abby Young; two brothers, David Mason and Richard Rizer; and two sisters, JoAnn Peterman and Eloise Myers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ronald C. Miller who died in 1952; and two sisters. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Bish Memorial Funeral Home, 206 South St., New Bethlehem where a Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Catholic Church, New Bethlehem with her pastor, the Rev. William M. Laska officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, New Bethlehem.
