Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harrah of Charleston, WV, proudly announce the marriage of their daughter, Marlene Rene Harrah, to Chance Anthony Reed, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Reed of Mason, WV.
The couple exchanged their wedding vows May 3, 2008 at their home church, The Tabernacle of Praise in Cross Lanes, WV. Pastor Bill Huddleston performed the ceremony attended by many friends and family.
Destiny and Josh Parsons, who first introduced the couple, served as Matron of Honor and Best Man. Bridesmaids were Jule Barnitt, friend of the bride, Donna Dennis, twin sister of the groom, and Angel Means, cousin of the bride. Groomsmen were David Reed, brother of the groom, Andrew Dennis, Brother-in-law of the groom and Shannon Lewis, friend of the groom. Their reception was held at the church fellowship hall and their lovely wedding cake was created by Betty Lawrence, maternal grandmother of the bride. The newlyweds honeymooned in Gatlinburg, TN.
Chance is a graduate of Wahama High School and is employed by Walker Machinery. Marlene is a graduate of Capital High School and University of Charleston School of Nursing. She is employed as an RN at BeBetter Networks. The couple now resides in Charleston.
