WHITEHART - MARTIN
Breaking surf was the backdrop for the marriage of Stephanie Ann Martin and Kevin Dwayne Whitehart on Saturday, August 7, 2004, at the Beach Colony Resort in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Stephanie is the daughter of Christi and John Martin of Sissonville and the granddaughter of the late Franca Martin of Charleston. Steph is a graduate of Sissonville High School and Concord College, where she was affiliated with Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority. She is currently a teacher/coach at Southwest Randolph Middle School in Asheboro, N.C.
Kevin is the son of Judy and John Howard of Trinity, N.C., and Gloria and John Whitehart of Fayetteville, N.C. He is a customer service specialist with Rosa's Furniture Company in High Point, N.C.
Bridal attendants included Angie Ritter, Dena Lambeth and Stephanie Nunn. Anna Lambeth was the flower girl. Groomsmen included Allan Whitehart, Stayce Nunn and Andy Martin. Flowers were provided by Barbara Rice, the bride's aunt, and Kris Mills. The memory candle honoring the bride's "Nonna" was provided by Julie Gillenwater.
Following the 10:00 a.m. ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a brunch at Fusco's at the Beach Colony Resort for the guests from Charleston and the Carolinas.
Steph and Kevin are at home in Trinity, N.C.
