Sanchez - Mai
Jennifer Lynn Mai, the daughter of Althea and Don Mai of Hoisington, and B.J. Sanchez, the son of Rebecca and John Sanchez of Denver, Colo., were united in marriage July 5, 2003 at Concordia Lutheran Church of Hoisington.
The Rev. Garry Dassow officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore an elegant Dominique bias-cut peau de soie silk gown styled in an a-line silhouette with a halter neckline atop an empire waist that flowed into a triple pointed chapel-length train.
Her head was adorned with a couture waterfall chapel-length veil with Swarovski crystal swirl pins interwoven in her hair.
She carried a nosegay of red roses accented with wheat.
Maid of honor was Andrea Sigars of Denver.
Bridesmaids were Kerri Bear of Fort Worth, Texas, Corinne Buffmire of Chicago, Ill., Colleen Eager and Deborah Madden, both of Denver.
They wore elegant red satin floor-length gowns with halter necklines atop a sweetheart bodice and carried long-stemmed white calla lilies tied with red organza ribbon.
Best man was Corey Sanchez of Denver. Groomsmen were Tate Sanchez of Broomfield, Colo., both brothers of the groom, Tony Munoz of Grand Junction, Colo., Brian Davisson of Broomfield, and Clint Mai of Hoisington, brother of the bride.
Flower girl was Lindsey Roberts and the ring bearer was Porter McQuade, niece and nephew of groom.
Taper lighter was Whitney Roberts, niece of the groom.
Scripture readings were performed by Danny Bramzon of Los Angeles, Calif., and Brett Clifton of Chicago.
Music was provided by Kerri Lynne Brown of Hoisington, organist, and Rich Sletvold of Denver, soloist.
After a honeymoon in Playa del Carmen, the couple reside in Westminster, Colo.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Kansas and is employed by Media Strategies and Research of Denver.
The groom is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Colorado School of Law and is employed by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards of Denver.
