Hardman - Siebold
Lana Renae Siebold and Gabriel Ryan Hardman were united in marriage on March 15, 2003 at St. Paul’s
Lutheran Church in Clay Center.
The Rev. Richard Bruenger officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Rita Siebold of Clay Center and Jed and Paula Kuhn of Great Bend.
Grandparents of the couple are Grace Siebold of Linn, Celestine and Thelma Jacobs of La Crosse and Clint and Lee Kuhn of Great Bend.
In loving memory of Lanny Siebold and Kent Hardman, fathers of the couple, a candle was lit with their Bibles lying beside it.
A vase of red roses was displayed on the altar in memory of the couple’s grandparents.
Candle lighters were Phillip Kuhn and Andrew Kuhn, brothers of the groom.
Nola Schmale of Clay Center provided the piano music.
Vocalists were Jon Siebold of Grand Blanc, Mich., cousin of the bride, and Annette Smith of Clay Center, sister of the bride.
Kenneth Jacobs of Pacific, Mo., uncle of the groom, was the reader. Randy Siebold of Clay Center, brother of the bride, gave her away in marriage.
Susan Tiers and Annette Smith of Clay Center, sisters of the bride, served as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Dajani of Olathe, Jenny Haley of Ashland, Mo., and Shanell Gurney of Clay Center, all friends of the bride.
Amani Dajani of Olathe, friend of the bride, served as flower girl.
Mike Riese of Hoisington, friend of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Jacob Hardman of Great Bend, brother of the groom, Nathan Miller of Albert, Adam Jefferis of Anthony, friends of the groom, and Randy Siebold of Clay Center, brother of the bride.
Ryan Tiers of Clay Center, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
Ushers for the ceremony were Canaan Ohlde of Hanford, Calif., cousin of the bride, Jon Riese of Manhattan and Justin Ochs of Syracuse, friends of the groom.
Guest book attendants were Brenda Siebold of Clay Center, sister-in-law of the bride, and Alisha Hardman of McPherson, cousin of the groom.
Christine Ewing of Topeka served as the bride’s personal attendant.
Gift attendants were Adriane Ohlde of Manhattan, cousin of the bride, and Andrea Luna of Lowell, Mass., a friend of the bride.
Bubble attendants were Manion Kuhn of Kansas City, Mo., cousin of the groom, Caleb Siebold, Gavin Siebold and Emma Smith, all of Clay Center, nephews and niece of the bride.
Following the ceremony a meal, reception and dance were held at Clay Center Armory.
Jerry and Betty Siebold of Clay Center, uncle and aunt of the bride, served as host and hostess.
Merv Knox of Clifton, Donna Ferris of Marysville and Deneen Thurston of Overland Park, all cousins of the bride, assisted with the meal.
Cake and punch servers were Jan Hake of McPherson, aunt of the groom, Clarice Ohlde of Palmer, aunt of the bride, and Angie Nabors of Palmer, cousin of the bride.
Ladies of St. Paul Lutheran Church Friendship Circle assisted with the serving.
The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico, and now reside in Central City, Neb.
