Malia Joyce Dinkel and Benjamin Caleb Bigham were married Sept. 20, 2003 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend with the Revs. Ted Stoecklein and Jim Harrelson officiating the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Lois and Gerald Dinkel of Great Bend and Carolyn and Jerry Bigham of Luray.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an elegant ivory matte satin gown styled with a Basque waist silhouette and featuring a strapless bodice.
Narrow cafe matte satin bands were beaded with pale amethyst crystals, tiny clear crystals and seed beads.
The full ballroom skirt swept into its own chapel train and featured a split overlay revealing a side panel of cafe matte satin fully embellished with delicately beaded floral and vine embroidered motif from the waist to the hem.
She carried a bouquet of red roses.
Matrons of honor were Ann Bell of Liberty, Mo., and Rachel Purdy of Wichita, both sisters of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Kelly Feist of Great Bend, Megan Alexander of Wichita and Amanda Bigham of Lawrence, sister of the groom.
Best man was Jeff Boese of Newton.
Groomsmen were Jody Hadley of Newton, Jeremy Kennedy of Great Bend, Jeff Watkins of Salina and
Jeremy Janzen of Newton.
Ushers were Scot Bell of Liberty, Jason Purdy of Wichita and Jared Bigham of McPherson.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Great Bend High School and Barton County Community College.
She is a certified licensed occupational therapy assistant for Rehab Care Group in Newton.
The groom is a graduate of Lucas/Luray High School and Kansas State University.
He is a mechanical engineer with Bradbury Com. in Moundridge.
