Telling - Peter
Molly Peter, the daughter of Margaret Peter of Ellinwood and the late Larry R. Peter, and James Telling of Austell, Ga., the son of Linda and Mark Telling of Acworth, Ga., were united in marriage Aug. 9, 2003 at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Ellinwood.
The Rev. Larry Young conducted the double-ring ceremony.
Given in marriage by her mother, the bride wore a white satin a-line spaghetti strap gown with beaded lace bodice, split back and tulle train.
A pearl tiara which her mother wore in her wedding with white tulle adorned her head.
Pearls and earrings were loaned by the groom’s mother.
Maid of honor was Natalie Peter, sister of the bride, of Ellinwood.
Bridesmaids were Megan Williams of Great Bend, Sara Kibbe of Lawrence, Rachel Dubbert of Westwood and Judy Bloch of Leawood.
They wore royal blue sleeveless long crepe dresses and carried bouquets similar to the bride.
Best man was John Telling of Kennesaw, Ga., brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Mark Telling, father of the groom, Jeff Telling, brother of the groom, of Mooresville, N.C., Wesley Sullivan of Santa Monica, Calif., and Emanuel Dressie of Atlanta, Ga.
Usher was Steve Peter, brother of the bride, of Ellinwood.
Flowergirl was Meghan Telling, niece of the groom, and ringbearer was Matthew Telling, nephew of the groom, both of Kennesaw.
Organist was Nancy Heine of Chase, pianist was Nancy Green , cousin of the bride, of Scott City, and soloist was Lori Nelson, cousin of the bride, of Lindsborg.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Ellinwood High School, a 1997 graduate of Hutchinson Community College and a 2000 graduate of Kansas State University.
She is field industrial engineer for Yellow Transportation in Marietta, Ga.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of North Cobb High School in Acworth and a 1999 graduate of Jackson State University of Jacksonville, Ala.
He is an account executive for Yellow Transportation in Marietta.
The couple reside in Austell.
