Gorney - Olivier
Ashley Olivier, the daughter of Bob and Lora Olivier of Great Bend, and Jerad Gorney, the son of Randy and Terri Gorney of Great Bend, were united in marriage on Aug. 9, 2003 at St. Patrick Catholic Church of Great Bend.
The Rev. Reginald A. Urban officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore an elegant bridal white matte satin gown styled in a princess silhouette and featuring a strapless bodice with a split front neckline, all fully embellished in delicate embroidery accented with ice blue and silver beading.
The semi-full skirt swept into its own sweep chapel train and featured bands of matching beaded embroidery the full length of the train.
Her head was adorned with an Austrian crystal tiara and floor-length veil accented with rhinestones.
She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white daisies accented with periwinkle hydrangeas.
The stems were laced together with coral and periwinkle ribbon.
Maid of honor was Anne Otte of Phillipsburg.
Bridesmaids were Kaci Guthrie of Fairfield, Ohio, and Carmen Murry of Dallas, Texas.
They wore two-piece halter-top styled gowns.
They carried hand-tied bouquets of white gerbera daisies accented with tree fern and coral and periwinkle ribbon.
Best man was Shane Gorney of Great Bend.
Groomsmen were Jason McAnulla of Great Bend and J.J. McAnulla of Oklahoma City, Okla.
Usher was Trenton Olivier of Great Bend.
Flower girl was Rachelle McAnulla of Great Bend.
Ringbearer was Jeramie Kramer of Great Bend.
Music was provided by pianist Nancy Baxter.
Vocalist was Alisha Eickhoff.
The bride and groom are both graduates of Fort Hays State University.
