Koelsch - Wondra
Lisa Wondra, the daughter of Nancy and Vernon Wondra of Great Bend, and Billy Koelsch, the son of Bill E. Koelsch of St. John and the late Marcia Koelsch, were united in marriage on Jan. 4, 2003 at St. Patrick Catholic Church of Great Bend.
The Rev. Warren Stecklein officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a bridal gown featuring a halter neckline with a wide beaded insert detailed with soutache and beading.
The plunging back bodice joined with rosettes that flowed down the chapel length train.
She carried a cascading bouquet of Casa Blanca lilies, accented with purple statis.
Matron of honor was Tammy Steinbacher of Olathe.
Bridesmaids were Adrienne Collins of Emporia, Tonya Schartz and Amanda Bauman, both of Great Bend and Traci Summers of Provo, Utah.
They wore purple satin aline gowns featuring an asymmetrically draped bodice with a camisole neckline.
They carried a single stem of Casa Blanca lilies, hand wrapped and accented with purple statis.
The bride’s mother wore a corsage of white tea roses with purple statis accents.
Best man was Travis Morin of Wichita.
Groomsmen were Kurt Brock of WaKeeney, Tim Easley and Brad Lickiss, both of St. John, and Chris Cheeney of Pittsburg.
Ushers were Mark Cotter of Sioux Falls, S.D., Todd Wondra, Jason Wondra and Rex Kern, all of Great Bend.
Flower girls were Kenley Cotter of Sioux Falls and Ashlyn Koelsch of St. John.
Ringbearer was Shade Wondra of Great Bend.
Miniature bride was Taylor Wondra of Great Bend.
Taperlighters were Ryan Koelsch and Jason Koelsch, both of St. John.
Music was provided by organist Joyce Haberman of Great Bend and vocalists, Teresa White and Stephen Mazouch, both of Manhattan.
The bride graduated from Great Bend High School and attended the University of Kansas.
She is employed by The Center for Counseling and Consultation of Great Bend.
The groom is a graduate of St. John High School and Seward County College, with an associate
of art degree.
He is employed by Koelsch Farms.
