Misty Julian, the daughter of Clay Julian of Ozark, Ark., and Sonja Julian of Great Bend, and Jon
Donecker, the son of Craig and Anna Donecker of Claflin, were united in marriage on March 15, 2003 at First Church of the Nazarene of Great Bend.
The Rev. Mark Pennington officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a floor-length satin gown featuring a princess aline bodice and cap sleeves made of venise silk lace accented with pearls and sequins.
The bodice had a sweetheart neckline and was trimmed with rows of lace and pearls.
The back had a large bow and featured silk, pearls and a cathedral length train.
Her head was adorned with a crystal tiara and veil.
She carried a bouquet of yellow and navy roses, white daisies and greenery with beaded pearls.
Maid of honor was Hope Slack of Great Bend, cousin of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Christi Stude and Dilansy Tracy, both of Great Bend.
They wore floorlength satin gowns in ice yellow, featuring a square neckline and low back with criss cross straps.
Miniature bride was Lacy Wilcox of Salina.
She wore a dress identical to the bride’s, except for the train.
They carried bouquets of navy and yellow roses with white daisies and blue ribbon.
Best man was Jeff Donecker of Claflin, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Mike Buehler and Kevin Donecker, both of Claflin.
Miniature groom was Philip Donecker, nephew of the groom.
Ushers were C.J. Julian of Fort Smith, Ark., brother of the bride, Chad Tracy of Great Bend, Jason Carrier of Hoisington and Kendall Wilson of Sylvia.
Flower girl was Shelby Tracy of Great Bend.
Ringbearer was Keaton Sander of Great Bend. Taperlighters were Kade Sander of Great Bend and Luke Wilcox of Salina.
Vocalists were Don Rayburn, Lew Rayburn and Walt Pennington.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Great Bend High School.
She is self-employed as a day care provider.
The groom is a graduate of Claflin High School and Barton County Community College.
He is employed by Mid Continental Restoration of Fort Scott.
