Lori Heinz, the daughter of Mark and Glenda Heinz of Ellinwood, and Chad Steffan, the son of Larry and Debby Steffan of Chase, were united in marriage on March 1, 2003 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Ellinwood.
The Rev. James Roth officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore an off the shoulder St. Patrick ball gown featuring a bodice embroidered with pearls and crystals and a chapel length train.
Her head was adorned with a chapel length veil, accented with pearls and crystals.
She carried a cascading bouquet of red, white, yellow, pink and lavender roses.
Matron of honor w as Kim Heinz of Ellinwood.
Bridesmaids were Mariah Isern of Ellinwood and Amanda Steffan and Stacy Dolechek, both of Hoisington.
They wore red gowns and each carried a nosegay of red, white, yellow, pink and lavender roses.
Best man was Chad Heinz of Ellinwood.
Groomsmen were Jeremy Zimmerman of Sylvan Grove, Randy Porter of Hutchinson and Cris Wycoff of La Crosse.
Ushers were Ross Link of Hutchinson, Chet Lang of McPherson, Doug Dolechek of Hoisington and
Landon Brock of Great Bend.
Ringbearers were Steffan Dolechek and Grant Dolechek, both of Hoisington.
Music was provided by organist, Leon Sobba of Ellinwood and vocalist, Joe Curtiss of Ellinwood.
The bride is a graduate of Ellinwood High School and Kansas State University.
She is the executive director of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Great Bend.
The groom is a graduate of Chase High School and Fort Hays State University.
He is a loan officer at Sunflower Bank.
