Dorenkamp - Povlick
The Rev. George Palick officiated at the 1:30 p.m. Oct. 5 wedding ceremony uniting Butler residents Lisa M. Dorenkamp and William P. Povlick at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Butler. A reception followed at Hindman Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Lawrence and Linda Dorenkamp of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Phyllis Hindman of Butler and William E. Povlick, also of Butler.
The matron of honor was Debby (Buzandski) Wilson of Clinton. The miniature bride was Kylee Wilson, also of Clinton. Bridesmaids were the bridegroom’s sister, Lisa Brusamonti of Fenelton; Kelly Dorenkamp of Pittsburgh; Kelly (Craig) Giles, Lisa Schuller and Joni Loverick, all of Butler; Kristen Zawacki of Greensburg; and Wendy (Brink) Jilson of Fredericksburg, Va. The flower girl was Brianna Brusamonti of Fenelton.
Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Dave Povlick of Butler. The miniature bridegroom was Devyn Jilson of Fredericksburg. Groomsmen were the bride’s brother, Larry Dorenkamp of Pittsburgh; Pete Brusamonti of Fenelton; Allen Hawk, Dave Friel and Dan Michalek, all of Butler; Jake Friel of Renfrew; and Dino Lavorini of Florence, Italy. The ring bearer was David Wilson of Clinton.
Greeting the guests were Julie Lavorini of Fairfax, Va.; and Mike Lavorini of Butler.
The bride is a 1986 graduate of Butler High School and a 1990 graduate of Penn State University, Behrend College. She is a sales representative for Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals.
The bridegroom is also a 1986 graduate of BHS. He works for AK Steel, Butler.
The couple will make their home in Butler.
