Rachel Lee Heine and Shane Marshall Eble were united in marriage on March 15, 2003 at St. John Lutheran Church of Ellinwood.
The Rev. Andy Keltner officiated the doublering ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Michael and Nancy Heine of Chase, Bill and Kathy Eble of Edgerton, and Yvonne Sieg and David Finger of Winchester.
Grandparents are Harry and Elaine Backhus of Leavenworth, Alvin and Frances Heine of Chase, George and Helen Eble of Eagle Rock, Mo., Leon and Frankie Gentry of Princeton, and Pauline Finger of Richmond.
Great-grandmother is Leona Akers of Richmond.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a white satin gown styled with a strapless bodice featuring an embroidered English net overlay trimmed with seed pearls, rhinestones and bugle beads.
From the asymmetrical waistline, a wide embroidered band flowed to the edge of the hem.
The skirt featured a full chapel train.
Her illusion veil was trimmed with satin and seed pearls and was held in place by a tiara studded with rhinestones and seed pearls.
She carried a cascade of white roses accented with silver ribbon and blue wildflowers.
Matron of honor was Becky Dobbins of South Coffeyville, Okla., sister of the bride.
She wore a navy blue two-piece satin dress with an organza overskirt.
Bridesmaids were Erin Schneweis of Topeka, Elizabeth Heine of Shawnee, cousin of the bride, and Sara Robinson of Kansas City, Mo., cousin of the bride.
Junior bridesmaid was Rosalyn Anderson of Liberty, Mo., cousin of the bride.
The bridesmaids wore light blue satin dresses with organza overskirts.
They all carried bouquets of three white roses with silver and blue accents.
Best man was Dustin Wyckoff of Eureka.
Groomsmen were Thate Wilmes and Chris Braley, both of Manhattan, and Nathan Bridgewater of Edgerton. Music was provided by the string quartet, “Rhapsody Strings,” of Hutchinson.
Attendants processed in to “Canon in D.”
The bride entered to “Trumpet Voluntary.”
The bride graduated from Chase High School and Kansas State University with a bachelor of science in hotel and restaurant management.
She is employed as an assistant director of Van Zile Dining Hall on the KSU campus.
The groom graduated from Edgerton High School and is a senior at KSU, majoring in golf course management.
He is employed by D & D Construction of Manhattan.
