Pittman, the son of Joseph and Roberta Pittman of Columbus, Ind., were united in marriage on Jan. 11, 2003 at Bukowski Chapel of Grand Rapids, Mich.
The Rev. Ted Stoecklein of Dodge City, cousin of the bride, officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore an aline, matte white duchess satin gown with a fitted bodice and chapel length train, made by the bride and her grandmother, Magdeline Gerstenkorn.
Her head was adorned with a train length veil and a crown of rhinestones and blue stones.
She carried an arrangement of white carnations, roses, baby’s breath and blue delphiniums, made by the bride.
Maid of honor was Monique Nadon of Roseville, Mich.
Bridesmaids were Jennifer Pittman and Elizabeth Pittman, both of Columbus, and sisters of the groom,
Andrea Covert of Richmond, Mich., and Elizabeth Windsor of Toledo, Ohio.
They wore cobalt blue, aline, ankle length gowns and carried bouquets of white carnations, miniature roses, baby’s breath and blue delphinium.
Best man was Daniel Timmis of Beverly Hills, Mich.
Groomsmen were Adam Schneider of Olmitz, brother of the bride, Josh Greenwald of Grand Rapids, Eric Chisholm of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Raymond Gaiser of West Olive, Mich.
Ushers were Jacob Schneider and Daniel Schneider, both of Olmitz, and brothers of the bride, Patrick Hurley of Portage, Mich., and Dania Fiorito of Grand Rapids.
Ringbearer was Benjamin Schneider of Olmitz, brother of the bride.
Musicians were Dennis Rybicki and William Marfink, both of Grand Rapids, and Isaac Schneider of Olmitz, brother of the bride.
Vocalists were Seth Peters and Lauren Ivory, both of Michigan, Carla Johnson of Indiana and Jessica Penka of Dighton.
The bride is a graduate of Aquinas College of Grand Rapids, with a bachelor of science in psychology and a bachelor of arts in theology.
She is the granddaughter of Jerome and Magdeline Gerstenkorn of Great Bend, Paul Schneider of Olmitz and the late Rose Schneider.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Aquinas College.
He is employed by Adams State College of Alamosa, Colo., as a resident director.
He is the grandson of Robert and Emily Dillis of Brockton, Mass., Sarah Pittman of Kennebunk, Maine, and the late Peter Pittman.
