JoElla Elizabeth Hammeke, the daughter of Maurice J. and Norma M. Hammeke of Great Bend, KS and
William Joseph Tobin IV, the son of William Joseph III and Marjorie Tobin of Oskaloosa, were united in marriage on March 3, 2003 at Little White Chapel of Las Vegas, Nev.
The Rev. Shawn A. Jewell officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a long white gown with a scoop neckline.
The bodice and scalloped hemline were embellished in delicate lace covered with tiny seed pearls.
Matron of honor was Trilby Marie Haller of Green Bay, Wis., niece of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Marla Redburn of Great Bend and Lynda Ford of Olathe, KS both sisters of the bride,
and Tina Hammeke of Lenexa, KS sister-in-law of the bride.
Best man was Dr. Robert W. Haller of Green Bay.
Groomsmen were Vince Hammeke of Lenexa, brother of the bride, and Dennis Redburn of Great Bend, brother-in-law of the bride.
Ringbearer was Bobbi Strayer of Franklin, Tenn.
The bride was a graduate of Great Bend High School, Barton County Community College and BCCC School of Cosmetology.
She is employed by The Total Look of Lawrence.
The groom is a graduate of Oskaloosa High School, University of Wyoming and Johnson County Community College.
He is employed as an assistant grounds keeper at Lawrence Country Club.
