Birkestrand - Aguirre
Erin Birkestrand, the daughter of Rolland and Ramae Birkestrand of Luverne, Minn., and Juan Aguirre, the son of Pascuala Luque of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the late Filomeno Aguirre, were united in marriage on July 13, 2002 at First Presbyterian Church in Luverne.
The Rev. John Pehrson officiated the double ring ceremony.
Maid of honor was RaLonda Birkestrand of Luverne, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Heather Doffing of Hastings, Minn., Shelly Kluge of Clearwater, Minn., and Kendra Vanīt Hof of Edgerton, Minn., cousin of the bride.

The bride was a graduate of Luverne High School and Luther College of Decorah, Iowa.

The groom is a graduate of Bethel College of North Newton.
He is employed as a soccer coach and Spanish teacher for Great Bend High School.
