Cassondra Lynn Charles, daughter of Richard and Marilyn Charles of Great Bend and Christopher Duane Ney, son of John Ney of Hoisington and Mark and Kay Hlavaty of Olmitz, were united in marriage June 9 at Faith Community Church in Great Bend.
The Rev. Fred Kirkpatrick officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride was given away by her father.
The bride wore an elegant ivory matte satin gown, styled in a princess silhouette, featuring a deeply veed neckline and long fitted sleeves, all fully embellished with pearled and sequined re-embroidered alencon lace medallions.
The semi-full skirt, which swept into its own extended chapel train, featured scattered medallions and a matching border of lace and the hem.
The maid of honor was Jessica JoAnn Edwards of Wichita.
The best man was Greg Ney of Emporia.
The ushers were Deric Funk of Russell and Warren Funk of Colorado.
The flower girl was Casey Johnson and the ring bearer was Cameron Johnson, both of Tulsa, Okla.
The organist was Glenda Kirkpatrick and the vocalist was Debbie Lewis, both of Great Bend.
The bride is a graduate of Manhattan High School and is employed at Central Kansas Medical Center, St. Rose Campus in Great Bend.
The groom is a graduate of Hoisington High School and is employed with Cellular One of Great Bend.
The couple resides in Great Bend.
