Jantz - Ritter
Heather R. Jantz and Nathan H. Ritter, both of Merriam, were united in marriage Sept. 2, 2000. The garden wedding took place at 7 p.m. at the home of the father of the bride. The honorable Judge Van Hampton performed the double ring ceremony. A dinner reception dance followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Max and Cami Jantz of Montezuma. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Mary Malone of Great Bend and Dorothy Jantz of Montezuma. The groom is the son of Darwin and Vicki Ritter of Hoisington. He is the grandson of Marie Ritter of Hoisington.
The bride was given away by her father. She wore a strapless, silk Tomasina gown with lemon blossom embroidery and Austrian crystals scattered throughout the bodice and trailing down the train. Her veil of white flowing tulle was held in place with a band of crystals and pearls. She wore her grandmother Malone?s strand of pearls and carried a bouquet of white roses, stephanotis, and light blue delphinium. The candle lighters were Heath and Weston Koehn of Montezuma.
The ushers were Aaron Jantz of Montezuma, Dustin Ritter of Minneapolis, Minn., and Dan riehle of Fort Collins, Colo. The maid of honor was Trina Holmes of Manhattan. Bridesmaids were Jill Olson of Albuquerque, N.M., Kathleen Feld of New York, N.Y., Sharon Wiederanders of Kansas City and Debbie Dolechek of Denver. The flower girl was Madison Maher of Omaha, Neb.
The best man was Jason Martin of Hoisington. The groomsmen were Travis Crutcher, Travis Newkirk and Darin Dodrill, all of Manhattan, and Darin Ritter of Houston, Texas. The ring bearer was Luke Maher of Omaha. The bride is a graduate of Montezuma High School and Kansas State University. She is a technical writer for DST Systems, Inc. of Kansas City.
The groom is a graduate of Hoisington High School and Kansas State University. He is an analyst for Anderson Consulting in Overland Park. After a honeymoon in the Greek Isles, the couple is residing in Merriam.
