O. Marina Reile and Jesus I. Rodriguez were married Dec. 26, 2000 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Great Bend, Kansas with Pastor Dennis Berlin officiating.
Parents of the couple are Doris Reile, Albert, Loman Reile, Ness City, and Mr. and Mrs. Jesus Rodriguez Sr., Fontana, California. Grandmother is Lenora C. Miller, Albert. Escorted by her brother Bruce Reile, the bride wore an ivory Spanish Victorian dress with a V-neck.
The fitted bodice joined a full skirt and train covered with brocaded roses which covered the baby breath in her hair. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies and burgundy roses trimmed with green ivy and fern. Matron of honor was Cheryl Reile, Cheney, KS, sister-in-law of the bride.
She wore a sleeveless black floor length dress with white trailing collar. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies trimmed with green ivy and fern. Best man was Bruce Reile, Cheney, KS, brother of the bride. He and the groom wore formal black tuxes with brocaded vests.
Ushers were Armando Cano and Antonio Velazco, both of Great Bend, KS, friends of the bride. Flower girl was Maci Hagelgantz, Hays, KS, cousin of the bride. She wore an ivory floor length dress with bodice embellished with sequins.
Her French-braided hair was interwoven with baby breath. She carried a basket filled with burgundy rose petals. Sarai Hernandez was in charge of the guest book and Ale Hernandez was at the gift table. Music was supplied by Brad Shirer, organist and Daniela Uribe, violinist.
Soloists included Juan Uribe, Doris Reile, and Pastor Dennis Berlin. Reception soloist was Ron Harders. Floral decorations for the wedding and reception were designed by Gloria Hernandez, friend of the bride. The 3-tier cake was designed by Choco Valencia, friend of the bride.
Reception hostesses were Lori Berlin and Lowella Tyler and Mexican supper hostesses were Gloria Hernandez and Rosita Velazco. The bride is a graduate of Union College, Lincoln, NE, and Walla Walla College, Walla Walla, WA with a Masters Degree in Social Work.
She is employed in the NICU at the Loma Linda University Children's Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. The groom will be a spring graduate from Loma Linda University and presently is employed in the Implant Section of Loma Linda University Hospital. They will live in Redlands, California.
