Rugan Anniversary
Warren and Catherine Rugan of Ellinwood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends March 25, 2001 with a social hour and dinner at the Golden Belt Country Club.
Easter lilies and yellow roses decorated the room.
Hosts for the occasion were their children and grandchildren including Kurt and Sheila Rugan; Heather, Brent, Walter and Sherrie Rugan; Jana and McKenna, all of Ellinwood; Gene and Gina Rugan, Jason and Scott, all of Lyons; and Ben and Sharon Theimer, Elizabeth, Sarah, Daniel and Rachel, all of Winfield.
Rugan and the former Catherine Drug of Hoisington were united in marriage March 25, 1951, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hoisington.
They have lived in Ellinwood since 1951.
He is a retired farmer and stockman and she is a homemaker.
