(Obituary of Andrew Harms: "Andy J. Harms, 89, passed away on March 18, 2013 at Pine Village, Moundridge, KS. He was born on July 21, 1923, in Meade County, KS, the seventh child of Henry R. and Margaret Thiessen Harms. He was a farmer, and also worked as a quality control inspector for AGCO in Hesston, KS. On June 2, 1946 he married Lillian Just in the Lehigh M.B. Church, officiated by his father, the Rev. H.R. Harms. They lived in Marion, Harvey and McPherson counties. He is survived by his wife Lillian of Moundridge, and four children: Roger (Cindy Holman) of Edmond OK; Larry of Houston TX, James (Michelle) of Wichita KS; and Margaret (Tom) Knoll of Chandler AZ; brothers Vernon (Judy) of Green Valley, AZ, Harold (Joyce) of Dallas, OR, sisters Ann Fast of Dallas, OR, Elizabeth (Walt) Zistel of Medford, OR; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral procession will leave Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston at 9:15 a.m. for burial at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, at the Hesston City Cemetery, Hesston. Memorial Services will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the Hesston M.B. Church, Hesston with Pastor Brad Burkholder officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with family present 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 22 at Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston. (Obituary of Lillian Harms: "HESSTON - Lillian Beatrice Harms, 91, passed away on Dec. 27, 2014, at Pine Village Nursing Home, Moundridge. She was born Nov. 15, 1923, at Boyd, Oklahoma, the daughter of Fred F. and Susie Wedel Just. She received her Associates Degree in Music from Tabor College in 1943 and for 52 years she taught piano lessons. She was a member of the Kansas Music Teacher's Association and Hesston Mennonite Brethren Church. On June 2, 1946, she married Andrew "Andy" Harms at Lehigh. He passed away on March 18, 2013. Andy and Lillian were tour guides for Prudent Tours. She is survived by her children, Roger (Cindy Holman) Harms of Edmond, Oklahoma, Larry Harms of Houston, James "Jim" (Michelle) Harms of Wichita, Margaret (Tom) Knoll of Chandler, Arizona; seven grandchildren, Matthew Harms, Christiana Harms, Nathan Harms, Megan Barnard, Kaitlyn Brown, Tim Knoll, Katie Knoll; two great-grandchildren, Maisie and Andrew Harms. She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Harold Just; and one sister, Rubena Newland. Family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at the Hesston Mennonite Brethren Church, with Pastor Brad Burkholder officiating. Burial will be in the Hesston City Cemetery.
