Kibler - Peters
U.S. Army First Lt. Rebecca Kibler and U.S. Army Capt. Thomas Peters, both stationed in Columbus, Ga., exchanged wedding vows at 2 p.m. May 3 at the Church of the Beloved Disciple in Grove City. The Rev. Edward Zeitler officiated. A reception followed at the Grove City Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Carole and Gary Johnson of Slippery Rock and the late Jerry Kibler. Parents of the bridegroom are Thomas and Gloria Peters of Laconia, N.H.
The bride was presented for marriage by her brother, Terry Kibler and her stepfather, Gary Johnson.
The honor attendant was Corrie Lerch of Clarion. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Schreiber of Fort Knox, Ky.; Christine Raybury of Irwin; and Jennifer Gonda of Charleston, S.C. The flower girl was Rebecca Miller of Mount Pleasant, Mich.
Performing the duties of best man was U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Ethan Harding. Ushers were U.S. Army Capt. Matthew Schreiber of Fort Knox, Ky.; U.S. Army Capt. Matthew Barttlet of Atlanta; and U.S. Army Capt. David Zaino and U.S. Army Capt. Kevin O’Connor, both of Columbus. The ring bearer was Jason McKay of Chichester, N.H.
The bride graduated in 1996 from Slippery Rock High School and in 2001 from Indiana (Pa.) University. She is serving in the United States Army as an Army Nurse Corps officer.
The bridegroom graduated in 1994 from Bishop Brady High School in Concord, N.H., and in 1998 from Norwich University. He is serving in the United States Army as an infantry officer.
After a honeymoon in Alaska, the couple will return to Columbus.
