Burckharts observe 50th anniversary
Paul and Marna Burckhart celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family on Easter Sunday at the Hesston Senior Center.
Paul Ressler Burckhart of Orrville, Ohio, and Marna Lou Gaeddert of Buhler were married on March 26, 1955, at Hebron Mennonite Church in Buhler.
The first several years of their married life, they lived in Ohio.
For the last 46 years, they have lived in Hesston, where they owned and operated Paul’s Inc., a plumbing, heating and air conditioning business.
Their four children and their spouses are Sheryl and Wes Miller of Wheeling, Ohio; Kristen and Mark Mayhue of Newton; Kay and Dave Swartzendruber of Lakewood, Colo.; and Phil and Joanne Burckhart of Buhler.
They have 10 grandchildren.
The immediate family will celebrate with a trip to Camp Williamson in Collinsville, Ill., in June.
