Johnson, Hall exchange marriage vows
Katie Johnson and Ryan Hall, both of Hesston, were married at 4 p.m. June 5 at Hesston United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Tom Albin, an uncle of the groom, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Daylene Johnson of Hesston.
The groom is the son of Dr. Mark and Colleen Hall, also of Hesston.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The maid of honor was Angela Dickson, formerly of Hesston, and the bridesmaid was Michelle Hall, sister of the groom, of Newton.
The junior bridesmaid was Olivia Johnson of Hesston, sister of the bride.
The best man was Jed Kuhns of Moundridge. Groomsmen were Todd Harder of Wichita, Corey Burkholder of Jacksonville, Fla., and Andy Johnson, brother of the bride, of Hesston.
Candle lighters were Jackie Albin, cousin of the groom, of WaKeeney, and Molly VanDolah, cousin of the groom, of Gainsville, Texas.
Vocalist was Ginger Millermon of Hutchinson and the flutist, pianist and organist was Jessie Roth of Wichita.
The guest book attendant was Kate Flora, cousin of the groom, of Olathe.
Ushers were Josey Brinkley of Grand Junction, Colo., Jared Schmitt of Downs and Matt Medley of Manhattan, Kan.
The reception was held at the Water’s Edge restaurant in Hesston and was hosted by Carl and Faith Maughan, cousin-in-law and cousin of the bride, of Wichita.
The couple is making its home in Kansas City, Kan., where the bride is in her first year of nursing school at the KU School of Nursing and the groom is in his second year of medical school at the KU School of Medicine.
