Gerry and Vonnie Sieber of rural Newton announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendra, to Lonnie Morford of Manhattan. Morford is the son of Gene and Marcia Morford of Oberlin and Rick and Linda Deibert of Great Bend.
The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Hesston High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Bethel College, North Newton. She is employed as a realtor with Coldwell Banker Griffith and Blair in Topeka.
Her fiance graduated in 1995 from Decatur High School and received an associate degree in applied science from Colby Community College in 1997. He plans to graduate from Kansas State University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with coaching certification. He is employed at Pizza Hut, Inc., in Manhattan.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 25, 2002, at the home of the bride’s parents.
