Charlene Melanson of Tyrone and William Robert Snipes of Covington were married Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at the Church of the Nazarene in Covington.
The Rev Wayne Rutherford performed the double ring ceremony.
Leah Cauldwell of Covington provided organ music, Elizabeth Ann (Dee Dee) Snipes of Gainesville, daughter of the groom, was maid of honor, and Norma Jean Smith of Porterdale, daughter of the groom, was bridesmaid.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by Justin Reynolds of Gainesville.
Best man was William Robert Snipes Jr., son of the groom.
Following the ceremony, Joyce Campbell hosted a reception at Sugar Babes Restaurant in Covington.
The couple honeymooned in Florida and will reside in Tyrone.
