Walls - Wilder
Lt. Col. and Mrs. William Gregory Walls of Peachtree City announce the marriage of their daughter, Allison Leah, to Jeffery Dale Wilder, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hunt Wilder of Sharpsburg.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Claire Chancey and the late James Edwin Chancey Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Max Walls of Enterprise, Ala.
The groom is the grandson of the late Thelma Hunt Wilder of LaGrange and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred R. Ross of Leaksville, N.C.
The wedding was Oct. 14, 2000, at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church in Peachtree City. The Rev. Chuck Hodges officiated.
A program of wedding music was provided by organist Mary Motley, vocalist Jan Johnson and trumpeter Walt Klazak.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Her maid of honor was Mallory Roth of Atlanta. Serving as bridesmaids were Christy Lynn Byrd of Enterprise, Ala., Holly Snow Coriell of Atlanta, Brandi Brunson Davis of Rome, Melissa Ellen Davis of Birmingham, Ala., Ashley Clement Hardy of Charlotte, N.C., Stacey Johnson Lewis of Prattville, Ala., and Laura Puryear Keith of Huntsville, Ala.
Flower girls were Isabelle Alexandra Chancey of Tampa, Fla., and Jessica Ansley Newman of Atlanta, both cousins of the bride.
James Hunt Wilder served as his son's best man.
Groomsmen were Charles Joseph Hester of Valdosta; John Matthew McGowan of Atlanta; Michael Matthew Robson of Peachtree City; James Elliot Walls of Atlanta, brother of the bride; and brothers of the groom, James Allen Wilder of Winston-Salem N.C, Kevin Glenn Wilder of Newnan, and Richard Ross Wilder of Asheville, N.C. Ringbearer was Isaac Richard Wilder of Asheville, N.C., nephew of the groom.
The bride's book was attended by Brooke Anna Brunson of Buford, cousin of the bride, and program attendants were Rachel Lynn Wilder niece of the groom, and Christopher Ryan Wilder, nephew of the groom, both of Winston-Salem, N.C.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at White Water Country Club in Fayetteville. Prior to the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Wyndham Conference Center in Peachtree City.
The couple took a wedding trip to Jamaica and now resides in Atlanta.
