Wenning - Jowdy
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Foster and Mr. and Mrs. Todd Wenning of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Meegan Alyssa Wenning, to David Robert Jowdy, son of David A. Jowdy and the late Leslie Jowdy of New York Mills, N.Y.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Burdella Starkey Wenning and the late Harold Wenning, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Schneider, all of Canton, Ohio.
She is a graduate of McIntosh High School and received her Bachelor's degree in business administration from Georgia State University.
She also attended the Art Institute of Atlanta where she graduated in residential interiors.
She is currently employed as an interior designer with Pineapple House Interior Design, Inc. in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is the grandson of David Jowdy and the late Grace Jowdy of New York Mills, N.Y. and the late Dr. and Mrs. Robert Warner of Whitesboro, N.Y.
A graduate of New York Mills Junior-Senior High School, he attended Mowhawk Valley Community College and earned his Doctorate of chiropractic at Life University.
He is currently practicing at Coweta Family Chiropractic in Sharpsburg.
A spring wedding is planned.
