Thomas - Hacker
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore W. Thomas, Jr. of Peachtree City announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Karen Elizabeth Thomas, to Michael Craig Hacker, son of Mrs. Lorraine Reed of Spanish Fort, Ala. and Michael Hacker of Tulsa, Okla.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore W. Thomas, Sr., of Fayetteville, formerly of Verona, N.J., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gunnar F. Swanson of West Hartford, Conn. She is a 1992 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 1996 cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University with a B.S. degree in human development. She is presently a fourth year medical student at Mercer University School of Medicine. She will graduate in May, 2001, and will enter residency in family practice medicine.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Coy of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Ruth Hacker and the late Heber Raymond Hacker, also of Tulsa. He was graduated from McIntosh High School in 1992 and attended Spartanburg Methodist College in South Carolina. For the past three years he has been employed with Bennigan's and Hotel Properties, Inc. as a general manager. He is currently pursuing a business degree from South College in Savannah.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City. A reception will follow at Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center.
Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Savannah.
