Daugherty - Sindell
Sheila Martin of Peachtree City and Rick Daugherty of Griffin and announce the marriage of their daughter, Samantha Jill Daugherty, to John Quinten Sindell, Jr., son of John and Sandra Sindell of Charlotte, N.C.
The bride is the granddaughter of Ralph and Gracella Daugherty of Griffin and George and Betty Turk of Rogers, Ark. She is a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in sociology and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority.
The groom is the grandson of Alma Miller of Buckhead, and the late T.J. Miller of Eastman, and Ella Jessup of Columbus and the late Leroy J. Sindell of Lakeside, Ore. He was graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in computer science, was a member of Pi Kappa Phi, and is presently employed by Microsoft Corporation in Charlotte, N.C.
The wedding was held at the Peachtree City Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City on June 3, 2000, with the Rev. Clay Jacobs officiating. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Highgrove Clubhouse.
Attending the bride were maid of honor Angie Philpott of Peachtree City; bridesmaids Anne Vonderhaar, Cathy Vonderhaar, and Della Dender, all sisters of the bride from Griffin; and Adriana Atkinson, Candice Sims and Ali Hofmeister of Peachtree City.
John Sindell, father of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Eric Price of Rogers, Ark., brother of the bride; Brandt Hambrick, Lanier Parker and Josh Scott of Peachtree City; and John Englehardt of Atlanta.
The reader was Stacy Sindell-Ramirez of Charlotte, N.C., sister of the groom. Ushers were Frank Ramirez, brother-in-law of the groom, Jeff Price, brother of the bride, and T.R. Wenning.
Following a wedding trip to St. Thomas, the couple is residing in Charlotte, N.C.
