VanMETER - BURKS
Cinda Ann VanMeter and Charles William Burks exchanged wedding vows at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
The service was held at West Gantt Baptist Church, with the Rev. James D. Whetstone officiating.
A reception was held in the church reception hall.
The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frelan O. VanMeter of 525 Albin Ave., Washington Court House, Ohio, is a graduate of Greenville Technical College.
She earned an associate degree in nursing, and is a registered nurse at Greenville General Hospital.
The groom is a son of Ellen Burks of Paden Road, Fountain Inn, and the late Alex Burks.
He attends Greenville Technical College, where he is studying graphic engineering.
He is a security officer at Greenville General Hospital.
Karen Lynn VanMeter of Columbus, Ohio, was maid of honor.
Best man was Tim Lund of Van Nuys, Calif.
After a wedding trip to Colorado, the couple will live at 65 Villa Road.
