THIEKEN - Richard and Tudy
Richard and Ruth "Tudy" Thieken of Anderson Twp. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, November 27, 2004.
Their children hosted a dinner party in their honor at Terrace Park C.C. for family and close friends.
They were married at the Church of the Nativity in Pleasant Ridge in 1954.
Mr. Thieken retired from the Fire Sprinkler business in 1996 after serving the industry for 45 years.
Tudy has been a volunteer at Mercy Anderson Hospital for 25 years.
They have three married children, Lynn Vettel (Rich), Nancy Garthaus (Tim), Dan Thieken (Jody), and are proud grandparents of Lizzie, Nick, Charlie, Max, Chelsea, Ellie, Ted, Sammie, Gus, and Lily.
Richard and Tudy enjoy golf, traveling, and relaxing around their pool with the family.
