Sue Baumgardner and George F. Major were united in marriage on July 6, 1969, at Fifth Street Baptist Church in Hannibal.
The Rev. Eugene Downs officiated.
Attendants were Gerry Conners and Carin Sims.
Mrs. Major is the daughter of Lillian Baumgardner and the late Frank Baumgardner.
They are the parents of two sons, Eric Major of Hannibal, and Sean Major and wife, Billie Kay, of Hannibal, who have three children, Austin, Caden and Melody.
Rev. Major is the pastor of Silex Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Major is a registered nurse and the home health coordinator for the Marion County Health Department.
