MELDON - CORNEY
Shannon Leigh Meldon of Cincinnati, Ohio and Robert Blair Corney of Nashville, Tennessee were married April 9, 2004.
The ceremony took place at the historic Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, with Governor Phil Bredesen officiating.
In attendance were brother of the bride, Paul Michael Meldon of Balboa Island, California and sister of the groom, Susan Corney Van Allen of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In celebration of the marriage, a reception was held in the "Hall of Mirrors" at the Netherland Hilton Hotel on May 29, 2004.
The bride is the daughter of Jackie and the late Edwin Prescott Meldon of Cincinnati, Ohio.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Tyler Corney of Nashville, Tennessee.
The couple will reside in Nashville, where the bride is Director of Marketing for the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, and the groom is the Director of Communication and Special Assistant to the Governor of Tennessee.
